readyplace’s tutorial management system
Whether onboarding, IT support or small everyday aids: readyplace’s tutorial management system conveys knowledge vividly and sustainably. The founders of the Oldenburg company came up with the idea for the tutorial software in their everyday work. “We were confronted with the same questions again and again,” explains managing director Heiko Jabusch. “That gave us the idea of providing simple tutorials that guide anyone seeking help through the process as needed, regardless of time and place.”
Create tutorials yourself and keep them up to date
The result is software that enables a user to produce tutorials within 30 minutes. Images and documents can be turned into interactive tutorials
that the user can move through step by step, forwards and backwards. Highlights of individual areas and speech bubbles direct the focus to the relevant content in every step. Complex procedures can thus be explained simply and clearly – on a computer, smartphone or tablet. “With readyplace you create and update your own tutorials – without lengthy coordination with external service providers. That way you transport knowledge quickly and up to date. This is a great advantage in times of digitalisation, when information and processes are constantly changing,” Heiko Jabusch explains.
Versatile in use
From the onboarding process and internal IT support to step-by-step instructions for complex forms for citizens and businesses – the possible uses are many. But readyplace also makes shared office life easier. Heiko Jabusch smiles: “For example, we have a coffee machine that needs descaling regularly. The question of how to do it kept coming up. A QR code on the machine now explains the procedure clearly – the question has become obsolete.”
