readyplace in the German Administration Cloud
readyplace now available in the Deutsche Verwaltungscloud
KDO and readyplace AG from Oldenburg have been partners for several years. On this joint path another milestone can now be celebrated: readyplace has been listed in the Deutsche Verwaltungscloud (German Administration Cloud)! The DVC’s service portfolio thus gains a modern solution for knowledge transfer via click tutorials.
The Deutsche Verwaltungscloud (DVC) is a strategic project to strengthen the digital sovereignty of public administration. Its aim is to make IT solutions usable in administration faster, more securely and more efficiently – and to provide them centrally via the Cloud Service Portal (CSP).
An innovative solution for knowledge transfer
readyplace – hosted in KDO’s high-performance data centre – offers an innovative solution for knowledge transfer within administrations or for external sharing as a system for creating click tutorials. The step-by-step guides are quick and easy to create and can be translated into more than 50 languages using AI-assisted functions. Authors have free rein in designing their tutorials and can choose between various building blocks such as checklists, and highlight individual elements with notes and markers.
The use cases are diverse and range from onboarding and deepening knowledge to help with process uncertainties.

The listing was officially announced at the Smart Country Convention 2025 – the central industry event for digitalisation in the public sector. Heiko Jabusch, board member of readyplace AG, and Jens Lindner from KDO jointly presented the big step in a press announcement and used the event to enter into direct dialogue with the professional public, municipal representatives and the media.
“The listing of readyplace is further proof of how the DVC’s Cloud Service Portal is becoming a central building block for modern administration. We are delighted with the contribution readyplace will make in this ecosystem,” says Jens Lindner.
As operational IT service provider, KDO plays a key role in building the DVC and is already represented in the CSP with its own cloud services such as Namespace as a Service. To further diversify the Deutsche Verwaltungscloud’s service portfolio, further solutions will be integrated in the coming months – significantly advancing the digitalisation of the public sector.
readyplace is already in use at many municipalities and IT service providers; the EfA catalogue, among others, is also explained with readyplace. Since readyplace was founded in 2018, several million click tutorials have been delivered.
